Biography
Joanna is a Legal Assistant at Mortel Law, PLLC, where she is often the first friendly voice clients hear when they call or visit the office. She manages client intake, scheduling, and communication, and ensures that each case moves smoothly and efficiently through the estate planning and probate process. Her organization and attention to detail help keep the firm running seamlessly.
Before joining the firm, Joanna gained a wide range of professional experience in customer service and as a licensed life insurance agent for Bankers Life. Her background has strengthened her skills in communication, organization, and client care—qualities she brings to every interaction.
Joanna studied Biomedical Sciences and Business Law at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and plans to attend law school in the future. She enjoys helping clients feel comfortable and supported as they navigate important life decisions.
